Depending on what work you want to take on yourself and how big a website you need, then the cost of a web design and development can start from as little as £150.
Absolutely, and we welcome you to get involved! You’ll be able to update the text, images and add new pages or posts at any time once we have handed it over.
We will provide video tutorials on how to add blog posts and update web pages. But if you feel nervous about doing this or want us to do it for you then we can.
One-off updates for your websites will be charged at an hourly rate if the work is less than 8 hours. For anything more than this we will create a new project to do the work and quote accordingly.
Our hourly rate is £40, just get in touch if you want us to make any updates.
To get started we will send you a Design Brief document. This is a series of questions designed to get you to think about what you hope to achieve from the website and what you want us to do. Once we have a good idea about your business and your goals, we will work together to design the website structure and decide on the look and feel of the website. From there we will need you to provide us with any agreed text and images you want us to use on each of the pages. We will only start work on the final design after we have received your content as this may influence how we layout the pages.
If you want to purchase your domain name and hosting separately that is absolutely fine. We can build your website using your hosting. If you don’t want to get involved in the technical side then you can purchase a website care plan and let us take care of everything for you.
Yes, writing text (known as copy) or finding images for your website is hard. If you’re struggling or not sure where to start get in touch and we can chat about all the services we offer.
That’s fine. If you need online booking forms, events calendars or member logins, or anything else we can add those for you. Just ask.
Yes! I have a couple of website maintenance packages available which you can take a look at to see if they work for you.
Yes we do. We can help design a logo for your business if you don’t have one yet. Just get in touch and we can chat through your requirements.
A stress free website design for small businesses is our main goal, so our process for working with you has 4 simple steps.
Get in touch
If you would like to discuss a website for your small business, the first step is to get in touch. We’ll have a quick chat by email, phone or zoom to see if we are a good fit. The consultation is free and you’re under no obligation. I will then send out a Design Brief for you to complete so we can confirm what your goals are, what you hope to achieve and any deadlines you may have.
Let’s get you signed up
On receipt of the completed Design Brief from you, and if you are ready to go ahead, we’ll send a proposal to outline all the details. You can then sign the agreement and pay the invoice for the deposit.
Time to get to work
Now the fun part begins. Depending on what you need us to do, after you send me your copy and images, I’ll get to work on designing your website. If you need help with content, get in touch. We will be in touch at agreed intervals to discuss progress, show what we have done and allow you to make any revisions.
Go live day
We’ll set a date for launch and I’ll prepare everything ready to go live. Before go live we will ask you to confirm your acceptance with a sign off and you are then good to go and share your new website with the world.
An update could be adding or modifying text / images on any page or post, or layout changes to a page. You may even want us to add your blog posts for you. All of the content will be created by you and we will update the website accordingly.

We would recommend you getting your own Domain name as this means you own the right to that domain name, and can then easily move to other hosting providers if you ever need to. However, we can purchase the domain name on your behalf and set everything up for you. We recommend Namecheap.com to purchase your domain but you can get them for anywhere you choose.
